Event Operations Manager
Job Purpose:
The Event Operations Manager directs and manages all operations including guest service, staff development, and financial performance.
To implement and monitor compliance with company standards, internal controls, policies and procedures, guest relations, and company objectives and strategies, and ensures timely response to business needs, including field compliance with human resources and marketing objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Manages and Directs the Operation in outlets and event venues
Ensures an adequate execution of Operating Manuals that include Policies and Procedures and Standard Checklists
Ensures Consistency in services and products delivery
Assesses Manager’s and Employees’ Development and Training Needs
Assists in Budget and Marketing Plan Preparation
Controls and analyzes the monthly and yearly Profit and Loss Statement v/s Budget
Controls and Monitors Reservations and Floor Plans for all outlets and Venues
Controls the Managers’ Schedule and Leave Plans
Assists in the decision-making for events and entertainments in outlets and venues
Controls the recruitment process and placement of employees
Monitors employee promotions and salaries review
Evaluates the Performance of Outlets Managers
Meets regularly with Outlets & Venue Managers to assess the weekly operations (figures, performance, customers’ satisfaction)
Controls and Monitors the Back of House Operations (Purchasing, Menu Engineering, Food Production, Hygiene and Cleanliness, Cost Control, Inventories, warehouses, light & Sound, etc..), in compliance with Policies and Procedures
Ensures an adequate execution of Security and Safety Procedures
Helps and Facilitates new Outlets, Venues, and Concepts Openings (Set-up of Back and Front of House)
