Business Development Analyst
Responsibilities and Tasks
Analyzing business operations and strategies to identify new opportunities.
Reporting findings and obtaining approval from senior management, when required.
Identifying cost reductions to increase sales revenue.
Adding value to business/product offerings to increase sales.
Evaluating and improving sales strategies, as well as identifying new customers.
Writing proposals and liaising with other departments to align strategies.
Identifying and negotiating sales deals that promote sustained revenue.
Creating business plans for new businesses and diversifying current business activities.
Build rapport and establish long term relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Actively seeking out new avenues of growth and sales by identifying potential target markets.
Maintaining good communication with current clients and reaching out to new clients for further growth of business.
Reaching agreements on transactions, costs, contracts, and payments in order to meet sales goals.
Providing customers with pre- and post-purchase support as required.
Performing competitor analysis and provide findings to management in order to increase market share.
Keeping abreast with the latest market trends and providing the knowledge in form of presentations, internal communications and from vendors and suppliers to be up to date with the latest product offerings of the business.
Requirements and Qualifications
· Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus on business administration, marketing and/or sales.
· Minimum of three (3) years of business development experience with minimum one (1) year of working directly with management in a strategic development role.
· Ability to work efficiently and effectively with a team and under direct leadership of executive management.
