Join TUI BLUE as a Product Owner where you will be responsible for providing guidance and direction on TUI Blue Website enhancement and supporting wider projects relating to the M3 Brand websites. Main duties will include determining the product vision, defining new features, and managing the product roadmap and backlog. The Product Owner will manage the product development process to deliver maximum value and will collaborate closely across brands and product development teams to ensure the products meet specific objectives and timelines.
This role is offered as Hybrid/Remote and can be based from any of our European locations.
About The Role
Understand competitive landscape. Gather competitive data and identify new features and new search behaviours of online customers.
Identify, describe and get agreement on new features to be implemented.
Define and manage high-level strategic objectives and priorities for the product (i.e. roadmap).
Lead development process.
Create, manage and prioritize the backlog.
Ensure that the product backlog is communicated clearly to all team members and external suppliers.
Review the work done by the development team / external suppliers and provide constant feedback.
Liaise and monitor each phase of the product development cycle and identify areas of improvement.
Adjust and improve each iteration of the product before release.
Act as main point of contact for the development team / external suppliers and agencies.
Assist the scrum/product development team and external suppliers to meet the objectives and timings of each sprint.
Work with cross-functional teams, external suppliers and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, and engineering.
Work in an Agile environment and continuously review the business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks.
Update stakeholders on the product vision, strategy, features, status, and prioritization.
Develop and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch.
End-to-end launch revamped TUI websites to enhance customer experience.
About You
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience as a website product owner in hotel chains or OTAs.
Solid project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies.
Proven track record of success delivering web products.
High degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, understanding of Agile principles.
Experience with procurement, expense management, and treasury businesses and processes.
Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle.
