Cable Infrastructure Engineer - Senior

We are looking for a Cable Infrastructure Engineer Journeyman to be stationed at Doha, Qatar.

Essential Job Functions:

 Are required to solve technical engineering problems relating to secure and non-secure voice, video, data, and radio frequency cable infrastructure. 

 Developing and maintaining IT wiring diagrams. 

 Solving issues related to cables and networks. 

 Testing and terminating cables. 

 Plans and leads major technology assignments. 

 Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. 

 Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. 

 May supervise others. 

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

 Must be detail-oriented and have in-depth knowledge of designing complex cable plans for telecommunication systems, including the layout structures for equipment installations, as well as expanding existing cabling systems. 

 Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. 

 Possesses strong leadership skills. 

 Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple work streams, multi-task, and work well under tight deadlines. 

 Self-starter with ability to perform and lead work independently. 

 Structured problem solving. 

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

Minimum Qualifications:

 Bachelor degree in a STEM field 

 At least 5 - 10 years of related experience 

 Active Top Secret clearance
