Required jobs in EGEC Qatar company and their details:
Mechanical Draftsman
Creating and maintaining 2D and 3D models using cad and BIM software, collaborating with architects, engineers, and other members of the design and construction team, ensuring the models are accurate and meet project requirements, and using the models to identify and resolve conflicts or issues during the design phase.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Production of drawings on CAD and BIM Revit model for MEP works
Working towards deadlines set by the Project Manager or CAD/BIM manager
Create accurate 3D models of building MEP, infrastructure, and other components based on architectural and engineering drawings.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the models.
Integrate data from various sources and disciplines into the BIM models, ensuring consistency and compatibility.
Develop and maintain BIM standards and protocols for the project, adhering to industry best practices and client requirements.
Generate detailed drawings, sections, and schedules from the BIM models to support construction and design documentation.
Conduct clash detection and resolution to identify and resolve any potential conflicts or inconsistencies within the model.
Assist in the coordination and communication of project information across various teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and software to optimize modeling processes and enhance project efficiency.
Provide technical support and guidance to the project team members regarding BIM software and workflows.
Ensure the BIM models comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
Education & Experience:
Diploma or equivalent in Architectural / Civil & Structural/ Electrical & Mechanical
At least 3 Year(s) of relevant experience as BIM modeler
Well Versed in Revit
Proven experience in BIM modeling and proficiency in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM-related tools.
Strong understanding of construction principles, building systems, and architectural design process.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams
