Finance Manager

We are looking for a Finance Manager with 10 years of experience to oversee and lead our company's Finance Operations. The finance manager reports directly to the Board of Directors and oversees all the global accounting, compliance, treasury, and financial operations of our entities, including the consolidated financial statements of the group organization. The applicant should have extensive experience in accounting and financial compliance and prior work experience in international multi-entity environments and the applicant must have contracting experience and is familiar with financial project management.


This role supervises the Senior Manager of Accounting, and the Manager of Financial Operations, as well as other Finance staff as necessary. This role will coordinate with other functions across the organization and interface with internal and external stakeholders.
 

Requirements




Proven experience as a Finance Manager.
Masterful in dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information.
Excellent knowledge of accounting best practices
Expertise with Excel and/or Google Sheets
Results-driven and patient
Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis
High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness
Experience in a customer-facing role
Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or BA
Ability to instruct accounts and Finance department. 
 

Responsibility:




Operational Management: Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc) taking into account the company’s goals and financial standing.
Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
Facilitate communication within the office and with external stakeholders.
Oversees all financial activities of the company including but not limited to financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, accounting, cash flow management, reporting, revenue cycle and cost management.
Plays an active role in company's strategic planning, program development, and evaluation through financial analysis, forecasting, advising, and implements the company’s financial strategy to achieve its long-term goals, and objectives.
Identify, assess, and manage financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate risks and safeguard the company's financial health.
Oversees business unit tax filings, audits, and reports ensuring timely submission and ensures compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, and work with auditors to facilitate external audits.
Participates in Executive Leadership Team meetings and activities and works with departments to achieve financial goals.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Fundraising support - Help support subsequent rounds of fundraising with respect to document preparation.
Investor Relations management - Manage a team of professionals responding to questions from investors and potential investors and assist with company communications to this community.
Monthly Departmental Budgets - Support the reporting of Budget vs. Actual performance each month.
Assume the responsibility of receiving and sorting incoming payments with attention to credibility.
Manage the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies.
Facilitate account and subscription setups and payment method collection.
Update accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments.
Ensure all clients remain informed on their outstanding debts and deadlines.
Provide solutions to any relative problems of clients.
Write thorough reports on billing activity with clear and reliable data.


Qualifications:




Bachelor's degree in business administration/management (finance, accounting, or a related field, preferred)
10+ years’ experience as a CFO or Senior Financial Manager or Operational Manager
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of budgeting, financial planning, and resource management.
Excellent leadership and management skills
Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Bi-lingual in English and Arabic a plus.
