Auditor
JAR Accounting and Auditing, a premier financial services firm located in Qatar, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Auditor with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the field. The ideal candidate will be accredited with a professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, or CPA. This role involves leading and conducting audits, ensuring that financial operations and records meet compliance standards and are free from mismanagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute financial audits in compliance with international and local accounting standards.
Evaluate financial operations and controls to assure accuracy and compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
Analyze financial data to identify potential fraud, inefficiencies, or financial mismanagement.
Develop detailed audit reports and present findings to the Audit Director and relevant stakeholders.
Assess the accuracy and reliability of financial statements and accounting records.
Collaborate with clients to ensure a comprehensive understanding of their business practices and financial risks.
Advise on best practices in accounting and propose robust audit techniques.
Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management interventions.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification as ACCA, CA, or CPA is required.
A minimum of 3 years of experience as an auditor, preferably within a reputable audit firm.
Thorough understanding of auditing standards, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with auditing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
