BUILDING SUPERVISOR SERVICES


Responsibilities:

Carryout the supervision of all Building Maintenance services for the smooth running of all systems in the Satellite Monitoring Center. The SMC building is to be maintained at its highest level as it is intended to be an international venue for various satellite forums and international collaboration of Satellite related activities.
The building maintenance supervisor shall be responsible to oversee services includes the maintenance of all Hard systems viz. Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, CCTV system, Sewage, Irrigation, Generator, Pumps, HVAC system, BMS system etc.., Soft facilities includes Commissary arrangements, Guest Management, Catering, House Keeping,
Monitoring and Security services and or any other related activities.
Coordinate with the respective service providers for timely execution of preventive and corrective
maintenance both Hard system Maintenance and Soft System maintenance to ensure that all facilities in the SMC building are operational 24X7.
Prepare detailed roles and responsibilities for all services related to the SMC.
Prepare all tender documentation for all mentioned services for the renewal of maintenance contracts with the service providers.
Coordinating with Ashghal and the SMC building contractor for any measures viz guarantee /warranty during the 400-day warranty period.
Assists in the preparing of annual budget and expenditures for the SMC.
Coordinate and arrange all administrative activities required for meetings, trainings, workshops, etc. conducted in the SMC premises
Maintain electronic and paper records ensuring information is organized and easily accessible.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in science; Master’s degree is an advantage.
Diploma or PG Diploma in MEP or Maintenance of Systems is
also desirable.

Experience

Experience in related Maintenance coordination activities.
Relevant work experience in Qatar is beneficial.
Preparing tender Documentation and evaluation of proposals.

Skills

In-depth understanding of entire MS Office suite, database EPM and ERP systems
Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.
Excellent time management skills.
Well-developed organizational skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
Professional level verbal and written communications skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Arabic is desirable.
