Quantity Surveyor
We are reputed Engineering Consultants based in Doha, We are looking for Quantity Surveyor with more than 10+ years of experience, preferable will be given to some with Consultant Background.
1)To prepare B.O.Q. for preliminaries, civil & architectural finishes items and incorporating MEP BOQs to produce comprehensive BOQ of the project then to be reviewed by head of contracts & tender Department and designer engineers.
2) To coordinate between items in BOQ with design drawings and specifications
3) To prepare the volume of general and particular specs
4) To provide estimated priced B.O.Q. for client/Tender reference as per market average price
5) To prepare GCG invoices for governmental project ( such as Ashghal & PEO...etc ) and following their standards and forms then to be reviewed by head of contracts & tender Department
6) Review and initiate GCG payment certificates/recommendations for contractors‘ application of payments then to be reviewed by head of contracts & tender Department
7) Assist in studying contractors‘ main claims ( if needed as per GCG scope of works ) and preparing the required replies to be forwarded to head of contracts & tender Department for study and review then to GCG PM to reply contractors
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in the field of quantity surveying
High knowledge of related international and local standards, specs and method of measurements
