Provide planning and scheduling support for shutdown work activities through close liaison with the Planning team members, Job execution team members, Contractors and members from other relevant departments in meeting planning deliverables.
Key Job Accountabilities
Maintain accurate record of Shutdown (SD) Work Orders (SD Revision Code, Settlement Rules, Priority) in SAP, and also Primavera P6 for SD plans and schedule.
Develop advanced, detailed integrated schedules in scheduling software - Primavera P6, using provided detailed work packs and develop Work Breakdown Structure based on Shutdown Project requirement.
Perform quality checks on schedules and ensures that planning & scheduling best practices are followed.
Analyse schedules, work progress, identify risks and areas for improvement and optimization and provide recommendations.
Offer recommendations to optimize schedules and lead Lean Thinking sessions.
Participate in team meetings, Identify schedule clashes and density analysis and offer recommendations.
Ensure optimal resource loading of schedules to produce manpower requirements information to assist Contract division to negotiate with vendors.
Prepares comprehensive shutdown reports including Management reports, deviation reports, critical path, progress versus baseline plans and S-Curves.
Administration of Primavera P6 SD Project including consistency of SD project structure, codes, naming & numbering convention, calendars etc.
Controls the Shutdown job list and scope change for SD section.
Qualifications
Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering.
Knowledge and/or Experience
8 years diversified experience as a Technical Planner and scheduler of activities associated with maintenance, production and materials, including shutdown planning / preparation and execution in a Petrochemical process or LNG facility.
Technical and Business Skills
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Excellent Computer literacy skills including SAP, Primavera software.
Strong interpersonal skills.
