Style Designer
To regulate the look & feel of all on-air talents (internal and external) this is by implementing wardrobe guidelines that meet industry standards of broadcasters (TV) and ensuring that all talents abide by these policies and guidelines. Furthermore, conducting research (on appropriate on-air fashion, make-up, and studio lighting) on how to continuously have flawless General Appearance by talents.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Work closely with the Head of General Appearance and other members of the team.
Coordinate regularly with fashion designers, fashion suppliers, clothing and apparel companies, and other businesses that supply fashion supplies.
Keep updated with the latest worldwide fashion trends and designs for hair, face, body, and attire.
In-charge of advising presenters on the appropriate fashion for their on-air appearances.
Ensure that no wardrobe malfunctions happen before, during, and after on-air appearances.
Ensuring General Appearance guidelines is updated regularly and by competition. This is also to be shared and discussed with all key stakeholders including sister channels.
Constructing and customizing Policies & Guidelines for On-Air wardrobe, hair and makeup.
Project Management.
Approving weekly team ROTA’s
Daily monitoring of General Appearance and act upon when need be.
Conducting shopping trips with presenters to ensure abidance with guideline and further give hands on experience with what is acceptable and what is not.
Having close relationships with on-air departments to ensure guidelines are met by all responsible individuals.
Having close relationships with vendors and suppliers who support the department.
Keep update and monitor competition with other broadcasts when it comes to General Appearance.
Education:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Fashion Design.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of professional experience for the Designer
