Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Sous Chef at SMAKIT in Doha, Qatar. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and ensuring food quality and presentation standards are met. You will also supervise and train kitchen staff, maintain inventory levels, and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications
Culinary arts skills including food preparation, cooking, and plating
Experience in a supervisory role in a professional kitchen
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes
Certification or degree in Culinary Arts or a related field is a plus
