Al Hazm Mall is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Security Manager to lead and manage the safety and security operations at our luxury shopping destination. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mall security management and be committed to providing exceptional customer service. This role requires the Security Manager to ensure a safe environment for all patrons, tenants, and employees while maintaining the high standards and prestige associated with Al Hazm.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Leadership & Operations:
Oversee all security operations within Al Hazm Mall, ensuring that all visitors, tenants, and employees are protected at all times.
Develop, implement, and continuously update security protocols, emergency procedures, and risk management strategies specific to a luxury retail environment.
Monitor the performance of security systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, and access control, ensuring all are functioning properly and addressing any issues swiftly.
Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify potential threats or security weaknesses and implement corrective actions.
Ensure that all security operations comply with local laws and regulations while aligning with Al Hazm's prestige and service standards.
Team Management & Development:
Lead, manage, and train a team of security officers, instilling a strong sense of professionalism, attention to detail, and customer service.
Design and implement comprehensive training programs on emergency protocols, conflict resolution, customer service, and loss prevention.
Manage scheduling, task delegation, and performance evaluation of all security personnel.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, focusing on security best practices and service excellence.
Customer Service Excellence:
Ensure that security personnel are approachable, friendly, and trained in delivering the highest standards of customer service to Al Hazm’s clientele.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, complaints, and security-related concerns, ensuring a positive resolution.
Collaborate with mall management and tenants to ensure their security needs are met while enhancing the overall guest experience.
Incident & Emergency Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for managing and responding to security incidents, including theft, vandalism, medical emergencies, and evacuations.
Work closely with local law enforcement, emergency services, and government authorities when needed.
Maintain detailed incident reports and ensure that all records are up to date and in compliance with mall policies and local regulations.
Loss Prevention & Risk Management:
Implement effective loss prevention strategies and work with luxury brand tenants to safeguard their assets.
Monitor and address suspicious behavior, theft, and other criminal activities while protecting the privacy and comfort of high-profile clientele.
Advise tenants on best practices to prevent internal and external loss.
Strategic Planning & Reporting:
Collaborate with the mall’s senior management on security budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Prepare and present detailed security reports, analytics, and recommendations to the General Manager and other key stakeholders.
Ensure cost-effective management of resources while maintaining the highest level of security and service.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of security management experience, with at least 3 years in a mall, hospitality, or luxury retail environment.
Previous experience in managing security operations for high-profile or VIP environments is strongly preferred.
Skills:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
Crisis management and conflict resolution skills.
Proficiency in using advanced security systems (CCTV, access control, etc.).
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during emergencies.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in security management, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications:
Certifications in security management are a plus.
First aid and emergency response training preferred.
Working Conditions:
Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
The role involves standing, walking, and patrolling the mall for extended periods.
Occasional exposure to outdoor conditions may be required during patrols or emergencies.
