Director Supply Chain 

The Director Supply Chain role requires comprehensive Supply Chain, management, and business expertise. They lead through subordinate managers of managers and executes functional business plans and contribute to the development of functional strategy. They direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems that have implications beyond their function. The Director Supply Chain applies broad industry and commercial awareness to drive financial and operational performance and influence customer relationships. This role reports into the Senior Director Supply Chain in the Offshore Middle East Business Line.

Responsibilities

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Lead the business line strategic direction for the Supply Chain function

Staff the projects and business line 

Guide the strategy for projects

Understand and liaise with the major suppliers and customers in the area

Lead other supply chain leaders

Interact with global discipline counterparts, regional and corporate leadership 

Handle budget & headcount planning

Lead projects that are strategic to business

Retain and develop sufficient pool of subject matter experts in region or work with Global leadership to support projects

Manage annual performance and salary review 

Develop succession plan for key resources

Work closely with all SCM sub-functions in developing Global processes 

Support the Low-Cost Country Sourcing initiative in terms of audits and qualifications of suppliers

Support development of supply chain related processes

Ensure problems are identified in a timely manner and appropriate corrective action plans are developed to allow resolution; participate in resolving disputes, claims, and performance issues 

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, and/or Project Management 

Over 20 years within the Energy Industry through all phases of EPCI project delivery 

Extensive Supplier Audit and Qualification Experience 

IRCA Lead Auditor certification 

Ability to work as a team member as well as act as a team leader 

Wide experience with vendor audit activities, including on and offshore operations 

Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken

Computer literate in Microsoft programs: Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Project

Be conversant with the NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) process and corrective actions system

قيادة المشاريع التي لها أهمية استراتيجية للأعمال

الاحتفاظ بمجموعة كافية من الخبراء في مجال معين في المنطقة وتطويرها أو العمل مع القيادة العالمية لدعم المشاريع

إدارة الأداء السنوي ومراجعة الرواتب 

وضع خطة خلافة للموارد الرئيسية

العمل بشكل وثيق مع جميع وظائف إدارة سلسلة التوريد الفرعية في تطوير العمليات العالمية 

دعم مبادرة المصادر المحلية منخفضة التكلفة من حيث التدقيق ومؤهلات الموردين

دعم تطوير العمليات المتعلقة بسلسلة التوريد

ضمان تحديد المشكلات في الوقت المناسب ووضع خطط عمل تصحيحية مناسبة للسماح بالحل؛ المشاركة في حل النزاعات والمطالبات وقضايا الأداء 

المؤهلات

المؤهلات الأساسية والتعليم:

بكالوريوس في الهندسة والبناء و/أو إدارة المشاريع 

أكثر من 20 عامًا في صناعة الطاقة خلال جميع مراحل تسليم مشروع EPCI 

خبرة واسعة في التدقيق والتأهيل للموردين 

شهادة مدقق رئيسي من IRCA 

القدرة على العمل كعضو في الفريق وكذلك العمل كقائد للفريق 

خبرة واسعة في أنشطة تدقيق البائعين، بما في ذلك العمليات البحرية والخارجية 

مهارات التواصل والعرض، سواء المكتوبة أو المنطوقة
