Full Job Description

Position: Technical Manager
Company: Al Hamal Trading and Contracting W.L.L.
Job Type: Full-time

Role Overview:
The Technical Manager will ensure that projects meet the highest design, construction, and regulatory standards. This role involves close coordination with design, engineering, and project management teams to deliver efficient, high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Oversight and Management:

   • Oversee and manage the technical aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
   • Review and approve architectural designs, construction drawings, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
   • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors for seamless integration of architectural and technical components.
   • Provide technical expertise and support in the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.

2. Design and Documentation:

   • Coordinate with architects, designers, and consultants to finalize design concepts, layouts, and technical specifications.
   • Ensure that all architectural and engineering drawings are accurate, detailed, and meet necessary standards and regulations.
   • Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and samples per project requirements.
   • Lead the development and updating of technical documentation, ensuring that all designs are well-documented and approved by relevant authorities.

3. Team Leadership and Collaboration:

   • Lead and manage the technical team, ensuring all members are aligned with project objectives and deliverables.
   • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior architects, engineers, and support staff.
   • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and challenges during construction.

4. Risk Management and Problem-Solving:

   • Identify potential risks related to project designs and technical aspects, proposing solutions to mitigate those risks.
   • Act as the primary point of contact for resolving any architectural or technical challenges on-site, ensuring solutions are practical and compliant with design intent.
   • Implement quality control measures and conduct regular inspections to ensure all technical specifications are met.

5. Client and Stakeholder Communication:

   • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to understand their technical requirements and ensure satisfaction.
   • Provide regular updates and reports on the technical progress of projects to senior management and clients.
   • Assist in technical presentations, meetings, and discussions as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
  • Valid UPDA certification is mandatory.

• Experience:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in architectural and technical management within the construction industry.
  • Proven track record in managing the technical aspects of large-scale construction projects.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction processes, and project management.

• Key Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

نظرة عامة على الدور:
سيضمن المدير الفني أن المشاريع تلبي أعلى معايير التصميم والبناء والتنظيم. يتطلب هذا الدور تنسيقًا وثيقًا مع فرق التصميم والهندسة وإدارة المشاريع لتقديم مشاريع فعالة وعالية الجودة.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

1. الإشراف وإدارة المشروع:

   • الإشراف وإدارة الجوانب الفنية لمشاريع البناء، وضمان الالتزام بمواصفات التصميم ومعايير الجودة والمتطلبات التنظيمية.
   • مراجعة والموافقة على التصاميم المعمارية والرسومات الإنشائية والوثائق الفنية لضمان الامتثال للقوانين واللوائح المحلية.
   • التعاون مع مديري المشاريع والمهندسين والمقاولين لضمان دمج سلس للمكونات المعمارية والفنية.
   • تقديم الخبرة والدعم الفني في التخطيط والتنفيذ وتسليم مشاريع البناء، وضمان التوافق مع الجداول الزمنية والميزانيات.

2. التصميم والوثائق:

   • التنسيق مع المعماريين والمصممين والاستشاريين لتحديد مفاهيم التصميم والتخطيطات والمواصفات الفنية النهائية.
   • ضمان دقة وتفاصيل جميع الرسومات المعمارية والهندسية وامتثالها للمعايير واللوائح اللازمة.
   • مراجعة والموافقة على تقديم المواد والرسومات التنفيذية والعينات وفقًا لمتطلبات المشروع.
   • قيادة تطوير وتحديث الوثائق الفنية، وضمان توثيق جميع التصاميم بشكل جيد وموافقة السلطات المعنية.

3. قيادة الفريق والتعاون:

   • قيادة وإدارة الفريق الفني، وضمان توافق جميع الأعضاء مع أهداف المشروع ونتائجه.
   • تقديم الإرشاد والتوجيه الفني للمعماريين والمهندسين والمساعدين المبتدئين.
   • التنسيق مع المقاولين والاستشاريين والمقاولين الفرعيين لحل القضايا والتحديات الفنية التي قد تنشأ أثناء البناء.

4. إدارة المخاطر وحل المشكلات:

   • تحديد المخاطر المحتملة المتعلقة بتصميمات المشاريع والجوانب الفنية، واقتراح الحلول لتقليل تلك المخاطر.
   • العمل كنقطة اتصال رئيسية لحل أي تحديات معمارية أو فنية في الموقع، وضمان أن الحلول عملية ومتوافقة مع الهدف التصميمي.
   • تنفيذ تدابير مراقبة الجودة وإجراء فحوصات منتظمة لضمان تلبية جميع المواصفات الفنية.

5. التواصل مع العملاء والمساهمين:

   • التعاون مع العملاء والاستشاريين والمساهمين لفهم متطلباتهم الفنية وضمان رضاهم.
   • تقديم تحديثات وتقارير منتظمة حول التقدم الفني للمشاريع للإدارة العليا والعملاء.
   • المساعدة في العروض التقديمية الفنية والاجتماعات والنقاشات حسب الحاجة.

المؤهلات والمهارات:

• التعليم:

  • درجة بكاليوس في العمارة
  • شهادة UPDA صالحة أمر إلزامي.

• الخبرة:

  • خبرة لا تقل عن 8-10 سنوات في الإدارة المعمارية والفنية داخل صناعة البناء.
  • سجل مثبت في إدارة الجوانب الفنية لمشاريع البناء الكبيرة.

• المهارات الفنية:

  • معرفة قوية بالتصميم المعماري وعمليات البناء وإدارة المشاريع.

• المهارات الأساسية:

• مهارات قيادة وإدارة فرق قوية.
• قدرات ممتازة في حل المشكلات واتخاذ القرارات.
• مهارات تواصل بين شخصية قوية، مع القدرة على العمل بشكل فعال مع فرق متعددة التخصصات.
• اهتمام بالتفاصيل والتزام بتقديم نتائج عالية الجودة.
