To drive growth of VFQ’s Fixed Wholesale vertical by identifying and engaging with key global carrier customers, initiating strategic partnerships, and actively managing relationships to maximize Vodafone’s market share in the Fixed Wholesale business. The role is accountable for sustaining and expanding revenues and margins within this vertical, focusing on the existing customer base while also pursuing new business opportunities.
The incumbent on the role is to be responsible for developing a wide-ranging business contact strategy and sales plan, ensuring a proactive approach to managing and growing the customer portfolio. The role is fully accountable for achieving revenue targets for fixed wholesale and new business acquisitions. The role also involves providing insights into the effectiveness of customer engagements, embedding KPIs to optimize performance, and driving initiatives to retain and enhance existing revenue.
Responsibilities
Formulate and flawlessly execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Fixed Wholesale business at respective area. And regularly review and enhance the business execution strategy to maximize revenue retention and growth within VFQ’s fixed wholesale business aligned with department head.
Manage and build the contact strategy, sales plan as well as maintaining an up-to-date development plan of all customers within the base in time effective manners.
Ensure to drive and manage the compelling plans to grow pipeline and achieve sales targets.
Lead to proactively identify new sales opportunities and prioritize activities to maximize sales impact.
Identify potential global carrier and hyper-scaler customers and manage and grow the relationship with existing ones.
Engage and influence C-level executives. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key decision makers/influencers from the customer end.
Manage high-stakes negotiations.; finalize proposals, close deals and sign contract with customers.
Articulate the value of a complex sale in business terms, outlining the value proposition, ROI, and total cost of ownership.
Identify customer requirements and collaborate with relevant departments to develop targeted products and solutions.
Articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences and work effectively across internal and external partners/organizations.
Prioritize overall customer satisfaction by proactively addressing concerns. Ensure to manage work effectively across internal and external organizations to align goals and drive success.
Support and present business reviews and insights to the senior management.
Perform any additional project, task or activities assigned/delegated by the Line Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering Electronics/ Telecommunications/ IT engineering or equivalent, MBA is a plus
15 years of experience in Sales of Telco products and services, preferably with experience in Fixed Wholesale.
5 to 7 years of experience in sales strategy, and relationship management, in the telecom industry including substantial experience in leading sales teams, managing key accounts, and executing complex sales strategies, preferably within the telecom sector.
Extensive knowledge of fixed telecom products and services – International and Domestic with an ability to build and manage customers and engage across customer organizations up to C-Level.
Experience in contract negotiations from a commercial and budget owner perspective.
