Head, Product Control (Trading)

Primary purpose of job

As an integral part of QatarEnergy Trading (QET)'s Risk Management Framework, the Head of Product Control leads a team to produce the independent daily valuation of QET’s portfolio of physical LNG contracts, as well as explaining and attributing all changes to it
Through their team, the Head of Product Control enables all of QET’s downstream market risk management controls, exhaustively calculating the portfolio’s exposure to changing market prices and other risk factors


Experience & Skills


10+ years of total work experience, including 5+ years of leadership experience in IOCs, NOCs or reputable companies
Multi-disciplinary knowledge and broad competence is required in areas such as trading, sales operations, commercial commodity pricing, financial reporting, and P&L reporting
Proven communication and analytical skills with detailed-oriented thinking and a capacity to innovate around complex P&L reporting
Detailed knowledge of ETRM systems use is a requirement


Education


Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent numerical discipline from an internationally recognized university
Postgraduate Qualification (MSc. or MBA) is considered a plus

المعرفة متعددة التخصصات والكفاءة الواسعة مطلوبة في مجالات مثل التداول وعمليات المبيعات وتسعير السلع التجارية والتقارير المالية وتقارير الربح والخسارة
مهارات اتصال وتحليل مثبتة مع تفكير تفصيلي والقدرة على الابتكار فيما يتعلق بتقارير الربح والخسارة المعقدة
المعرفة التفصيلية لاستخدام أنظمة ETRM هي شرط أساسي


تعليم
