As a specialist, you will play a pivotal role in implementing comprehensive transport strategies that integrate various modes of transportation for Qatar.

Responsibilities not limited to;


Developing and implementing comprehensive transport strategies that integrate various modes of transportation (e.g., public transit, cycling, walking, private vehicles).
Analyzing transportation data and trends to identify areas for improvement in existing systems
Collaborating with urban planners, engineers, and policymakers to ensure transport solutions align with broader city development goals
Designing and overseeing projects that enhance connectivity between different transport modes
Conducting feasibility studies for new transport initiatives and infrastructure projects
Evaluating the environmental impact of transport systems and proposing sustainable solutions
Engaging with stakeholders, including community groups and local businesses, to gather input on transport needs and concerns
Staying updated on emerging technologies and innovations in transportation and assessing their potential applications.

Throughout this dynamic role, you will develop strong relationships with the client, government agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders, facilitating effective coordination and knowledge sharing. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be invaluable in driving continuous improvement and promoting open dialogue. As a successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise and make a significant impact on Qatar's vital transportation infrastructure
With your degree from a recognized university in an appropriate field such as Engineering, combined with a minimum of 10 years of experience and specialization in transportation planning, you will be well-equipped to tackle complex challenges
In-depth understanding of various transportation modes and their integration. Familiarity with relevant transportation policies, regulations, and standards. Awareness of sustainable transport principles and practices.
Experience working with transport modeling software and GIS. Along with strong proficiency in transportation modeling and simulation tools. Your proficiency with traffic management systems and smart city technologies, is highly advantageous.
Your bilingual skills will enable you to effectively communicate complex technical concepts, engage in meaningful discussions, and build strong relationships with clients and team members from diverse cultural backgrounds
Your proficiency in project management methodologies and tools will empower you to streamline processes and ensure timely and effective project execution
