ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

Leads Technology Platforms and Infrastructure Architecture on a project to meet business requirements through requirements analysis, cross-team collaboration, expertise support, and project supervision.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Identifies, implements, and monitors best practices for solution and infrastructure architecture while providing expert advice on both solution and infrastructure initiatives.
• Account for designing solutions for large or complex programs in accordance with business strategies, standards, and processes.
• Design/coordinate development of standard and complex solutions which may involve multiple parties both internally and externally, including the selection of 3rd party vendors to meet customer requirements.
• Work with other architects, development, and product engineering teams within the SITA Government business unit to produce successful customer designs.
• Interpret software requirements and design relevant solution and infrastructure architecture and performance modeling.
• Facilitate designs to be efficiently implemented Right the First Time (RFT) and supported operationally.
• Ensure infrastructure installations and upgrades are made in accordance with established policies, procedures, and software licensing agreements.
• Support account teams or competency centers during the pre-contract phases (qualification proposals and contracts) with technical designs and advice.
• Provide the technical qualification and own the technical parts of proposals submitted to customers through knowledge of current new or evolving technologies and SITA solution portfolios.
• Promote SITA by furnishing customers with comprehensive up-to-date information on current products, product enhancements, and new solutions through customer meetings and workshops.
• Collaborate with colleagues to gain and share ideas and opportunities.
• Ensure designs are in compliance with Industry standards and architectural plans.
• Lead and coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) through design and subsequent implementation.
• Assess the viability and value of new technologies and patterns, working to ensure we align with the business’s technical aims for scalability and growth.
• Manage and monitor the organization's technology platforms and infrastructure architecture and play a leading role in the vision and development of the company's future technology.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE:

• Degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science or Engineering).
• Minimum of 8-10 years IT experience or equivalent work experience in a relevant environment.
• Ability to provide technical system solutions, determine overall design direction, and provide hardware recommendations for complex technical issues.
• Experienced in designing, integrating, and managing software solutions.
• Have a background in working in a systems integration industry.
• Proven track record in producing, communicating, and documenting successful technical customer solutions.
• Pre-Sales Business and/or Commercial experience is a plus.
• Have a very strong solutions & application architecture background, with a very good understanding of how it impacts other IT disciplines.
• A willingness to keep up to date with developments in new technology.
• An understanding of information legislation, such as the Data Protection Act and GDPR.
• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the end-to-end solution.
• Deliver and ensure quality assurance against the design during the project phases.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Problem-solving and good analytical skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Team Player.

• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and initiatives concurrently.

المؤهلات

الخبرة:

• درجة في مجال تقني (مثل علوم الحاسوب أو الهندسة).
• خبرة IT لا تقل عن 8-10 سنوات أو خبرة عمل مكافئة في بيئة ذات صلة.
• القدرة على توفير الحلول التقنية للنظام، وتحديد الاتجاه العام للتصميم، وتقديم توصيات المعدات للأمور التقنية المعقدة.
• خبرة في تصميم وتكامل وإدارة الحلول البرمجية.
• خبرة في العمل في صناعة تكامل الأنظمة.
• سجل حافل في إنتاج وتوثيق وتصوير الحلول التقنية الناجحة للعملاء.
• تجربة في الأعمال التجارية ما قبل البيع و/أو الخبرة التجارية هي ميزة إضافية.
• خلفية قوية جدًا في حلول وهندسة التطبيقات، مع فهم جيد جدًا لكيفية تأثير ذلك على تخصصات تكنولوجيا المعلومات الأخرى.
• الرغبة في متابعة التطورات في التكنولوجيا الجديدة.
